The James Beard Foundation is Bringing “Owning It” to New Orleans for Female Entrepreneurs

All female entrepreneurs and aspiring businesswomen are invited to apply!

The James Beard Foundation is bringing “Owning It” to New Orleans! It’s an interactive experience designed to introduce emerging leaders in hospitality-related fields to best practices related to visioning, business planning, fundraising, and business pitching!

Apply TODAY to be part of this one-of-a-kind experience which will include inspirational speakers and hands-on workshops. Owning It is free of charge, but you MUST APPLY to be accepted!


A woman-identifying hospitality business owner or an aspiring business owner.
Interested in fostering a network of women in culinary from New Orleans, LA.
Live or work in the New Orleans area.
Able to commit to the full day of sessions on September 30th.

Workshops, Speakers and Panels

Qualified applicants will also be asked to participate in a pitch practice session on Tuesday, October 1st from 9AM – 2PM. The application period will close soon, so submit your profile to apply TODAY!

All applicants will automatically qualify for a FREE “Build Your Online Presence” workshop that will assist you with website visibility re-branding, and social media presence. All food, refreshments, and materials will be paid for and provided by Eat NOLA Noir.

All applicants that apply to attend “Owning It” will automatically qualify for FREE brand-building workshop in October.
