Les Dames d’Escoffier International Partners with the Julia Child Foundation To Offer Seven Unique Culinary Mentorship Experiences

Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) and the Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and Culinary Arts have partnered to offer the prestigious Legacy Awards, curated culinary experiences designed specifically to enhance the careers of women in food, beverage and hospitality. Women with a minimum of four years culinary industry experience are eligible to apply by March 1, 2019.

This year, LDEI members and chapters are offering seven Legacy Awards, in four categories, contributing workplace experiences in the US, Canada, and England, including:

  • Ann Arbor, Michigan CULINARY AWARD, Zingerman’s Family of Businesses
  • Austin, Texas CULINARY AWARD, Quality Seafood
  • New Orleans, Louisiana CULINARY AWARD, Compère Lapin
  • Nottingham Forest and London, England CULINARY AWARD, Welbeck Abbey School of Artisan Food
  • Livermore Valley, California BEVERAGE & HOSPITALITY AWARD, Wente Family Estates
  • British Columbia, Canada WINE AWARD, Okanagan Valley Wineries
  • New England FARM TO SEA TO TABLE AND JOURNALISM AWARD, New England Food System
